Biographical data about the author
Zdravko Nikolov Palazov (18.10.1957 – 20.10.2022). Born on 18.10.1957. in Smolyan. He graduated from art high school in Kazanlak (1978) and majored in painting under Prof. Dobri Dobrev at VIII “Nikolay Pavlovich” (1984). Specializes in Russia, Italy, France. Participated in many national exhibitions in the country and in representative collections of the SBH around the world. Organized solo exhibitions in Germany, Switzerland, Serbia. His paintings are included in a number of foreign collections and in almost all Bulgarian art galleries. Zdravko Palazov works in the field of monumental painting and drawing, illustration and artistic design. Since April 2005, he has been the director of the Smolyan Art Gallery.
