Lukova, Vera (1907-1974). The Bulgarian artist Vera Lukova was born in 1907. She graduated from the Art Academy in Sofia in 1930, majoring in painting. In 1931, he received the First Prize for Painting at the Fifth General Art Exhibition. Vera Lukova spent a year in Paris and in 1937 she received a gold medal at the Paris Exhibition. Vera Lukova’s work includes portraits, still lifes, landscapes, book illustrations and layouts, as well as set designs for costumes.
