Biographical data about the author

Kuchkov, Nikolay Angelov Nikolay Kuchkov was born in Mezdra on 21.05. 1948. He was born in the town of Voden in Macedonia. This is present-day Edessa in Greece. He graduated from an art school, after which he studied in Cuba for 2 years. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts in the class of Prof. Vasil Stoilov. Since 1967, the artist has been Plovdiv’s son-in-law and lives in the City of the Hills, and his first friends since then have been Slona, Dimitar Kirov, and Ioan Leviev. His first serious appearance as an artist was at the National Autumn Exhibitions in 1979.
