Biographical data about the author

ZHECHEV, Mariyan Ivanov Zhechev (MARO) – (27.IX.1957-09.XI.2007). Born in Silistra. In 1975, he graduated from high school in Shumen. Member of the SBH since 1991. Since 1994, he has participated in regional, national, international exhibitions, biennials and triennials. His paintings are owned by the NHG, the SGHG, the Ministry of Culture, art galleries in Shumen, Lovech, Oden – Belgium and Istanbul – Turkey, collectors and private individuals in Europe and Bulgaria. He has over 15 solo exhibitions in the country, France and Belgium. Freelance artist. He lives in Lovech.
