Biographical data about the author

KAZANDJIEV, Hristo Penev Kazandzhiev (1874-1952). Born in Shumen. He graduated from the Academy of Arts in Munich in 1896. He returned to Bulgaria. He taught in Varna (1898-1905), in Sofia (1905-1908) and in Shumen. Author of the well-known and popular work “Hristo Botev captures the steamship “Radetsky” 1876 (1911), reproduced in thousands of copies.
