Biographical data about the author
TERZIEV, Alexander Ivanov Terziev (24.IV.1934 – 14.10.2011). Born in V.Tarnovo. In 1958, he finished painting under Prof. Nenko Balkanski at the Academy of Arts. From 1958 to 1963 he was a drawing teacher at the Pedagogical Institute in Shumen. Since 1963, he has been teaching painting at VTU “St. Cyril and Methodius”, professor, member of the SBH. Winner of 7 national awards. He works in the field of portraiture, figurative composition and monumental art. Deceased 14.10.2011 – Veliko Tarnovo.
