Trifonovski, Toma Achille. Born on 17.02.1939, Drenichevo village, Greece, beg. 24.12.2010, Sofia At the age of 11, during the civil war, Trifonovski was taken out of Greece with the group of refugee children. He left for Czechoslovakia, where his parents discovered him. In Hungary he studied painting with professor Endre Domanovski. In the early 1960s, Trifonovski’s family settled in Bulgaria. He graduated from the “Nikolai Pavlovich” Art Academy in Sofia (1966), majoring in decorative – monumental painting. Trifonovski lives and works in the cities of Pleven, Vratsa and Sofia.
