Biographical data about the author

Makedonski, Dimitar Irakliev, born November 14, 1914, Dermantsi village, Vrachansko, died 1993. In 1944 he graduated from the Fine Arts Faculty of the Art Academy in Sofia, under Prof. Nikola Ganushev. From 1947 to 1965 he worked as a curator of the Sofia City Art Gallery and actively painted. Preferred genres are portrait, landscape and still life. Since 1947, he has participated in many general exhibitions in the country and abroad.
