Napoleon Alekov (1912 – 2002) Napoleon Alekov was born on April 22, 1912 in the city of Tulcea, Romania. He arrived in Bulgaria when he was two years old. Learned from Italian masters. He is an eminent mariner. He presented his work in over 25 solo exhibitions and left over 10,000 paintings in the possession of collectors in the country and abroad.
