Biographical data about the author

Urumov, Petar Andreev (1895-1977). Born on January 30, 1895. in Sofia. Studied at the State Art and Industrial School in Sofia (1913-1919). Graduated painting under Prof. Mrkvichka. In 1927 he graduated from the academy again, this time under Prof. Tseno Todorov – 1927. From 1928 he participated in OHI and in exhibitions of the Society of Independent Artists. In the period 1935-1945. worked in Hungary, and then lived and worked in Sofia. He worked in the field of landscape, domestic composition and still life. Died 1977
