Biographical data about the author

Lyubomir Samardzhiev. Born 17.12.1937 in Plovdiv. He graduated (1961) from the Art Academy – Sofia, majoring in painting under Prof. Nenko Balkanski. From 1965 to 1972, he worked and lived in Smolyan, then in Plovdiv. Participated in general and representative exhibitions (Bucharest, Moscow, Leipzig, Hamburg, Munich, Leningrad, Paris, Ankara, Istanbul, Athens). He organizes solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. Died on 09.08.1999.
