Kirkov, Ivan Nikolov (January 1, 1932 – September 19, 2010). Born in Asenovgrad. He finished painting under Kiril Tsonev and Iliya Petrov. His reputation as a principled opponent of routine and visual vulgarity was confirmed with his first solo exhibition. Ivan Kirkov experiments in different fields and genres. Works in painting, illustration, poster, scenography.
