Valev, Vasil Vasilev (1934 – 2021). Professor Vasil Valev was born on March 26, 1934 in the village of Sigmen, Karnobat municipality. Graduated from “Decorative – monumental painting” under Prof. Georgi Bogdanov in 1959. Professor of painting at the National Academy of Arts since 1990. Died on June 30, 2021, Sofia.
