DRUMEV, Pavel Savov Drumev (5.VII.1942). Born in V. Tarnovo. In 1968 he graduated from the VPI “Brothers Cyril and Methodius”, majoring in painting under professors V. Stoilov, V. Zahariev, N. Kozhuharov, Al. Terziev and St. Domuschiev. Teaching at TfK “Asen Zlatarov” Novi Pazar. Since 1969, he lives in Shumen and works as a curator in the Art Gallery. Since 1970, he has been a member of the Society of Shumen Artists. Since 1973, he has participated in over 30 OHIs in the country, in 1986 – in an international plein air in the city of Kielce, Poland. In 1988, he became a member of the SBH. Since 1994, he has been a part-time teacher at SHU, teaching painting. He works in the field of still life, portraiture, composition, illustration, using watercolour, pastel, tempera and oil. By 2001, he had over 11 solo exhibitions. His works are in the possession of NHG, HG in Shumen, Targovishte, Razgrad, Provadia, N. Pazar and private individuals in almost all European countries and the USA.
