Biographical data about the author

Ivan B. Ivanov (1933 – 2023). Born on October 25, 1933 in the village of Medovina, Popovsko. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts with a degree in “Painting” in 1959. Over the years, he actively participated in the artistic life of the country with appearances in graphics, painting and mural painting. He has solo exhibitions in Paris, Budapest, Damascus, Kabul, etc. He realizes monumental projects – murals, mosaics and ceramic panels. Winner of the SBH award for graphics – 1977, for monumental arts – 1981 and the Sofia Award – 1988. Died on 22.06.2023.
