Biographical data about the author

Macedonian, Dimitar Irakliev, born November 14, 1914, Dermantsi village, Vrachansko. In 1944, he graduated from the “Painting” specialty at the Fine Arts Faculty of the Academy of Arts in Sofia, under Prof. Nikola Ganushev. From 1947 to 1965 he worked as a curator of the Sofia City Art Gallery and actively painted. His preferred genres are portrait, landscape and still life. Since 1947, he has participated in many general exhibitions in the country and abroad. Died June 27, 1993.
