Goev, Vladimir Ivanov (March 28, 1925, Burgas – May 31, 2013 – Sofia). Born in Burgas, in a family of immigrants from the village of Mokreni, Kostursko. From 1939 to 1944, he studied at the Real High School in Burgas, where his class teacher was the great Burgas artist and sculptor Petko Zadgorski. In 1952, Goev graduated with a degree in painting from VIII “Nikolay Pavlovich” in the class of Professor Iliya Petrov. He also studied under Professor Dechko Uzunov. Since 1953, Goev has been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists and for more than 20 years he has been a member of its Board of Directors. Participates in national and international exhibitions.
