MARKO MONEV (1939- 2004). Born in 1939 in the city of Ruse. His name is associated with the Ruse group of artists established in the 70s of the 20th century, or the so-called Ruse school. In Bulgarian art, Marko Monev remains a master of the landscape. The main subjects are the Danube River and the ancient architecture of the cities of Ruse, Paris, Warsaw.
