BALKANSKI, Dimitar Iliev Balkanski (2.VIII.1957). Born in Kazanlak. He graduated from the Art High School in his hometown, and in 1982 from the VTU “St. Cyril and Methodius”, majoring in sculpture under Prof. Nenko Marov. Teacher at “Ep. K. Preslavski” High School. Since 1989, principal assistant in sculpture. He works in the field of small plastic, drawing, painting, conceptual art. Participated in national exhibitions, regional and three international appearances, in the festival “Process-space” in the city of Balchik. Since 2008, he has been a doctor of pedagogy at the School of Education, and subsequently a professor.
