Biographical data about the author

KOSTOV, Anastas Iliev Kostov (NACETO) – (15.XII.1915 -28.IV.2005). Born in the town of Xanthi, Greece, the son of refugees resettled in 1920 from Macedonia. Graduated from high school in 1933. Participant in the Patriotic War – winner of two medals. Worked in the commercial industry. Member of the Group of Shumen artists. Participant in all her exhibitions in the 1970s and 1980s. In 1995, he published his memories of the Shumen artists, made a jubilee exhibition in HG-Shumen and became the winner of the Shumen Award.
