Biographical data about the author

PETROV, Chanko Petrov Penev (2.III.1902-1985). Born in Shumen. In 1932 he graduated from the Art Academy. Teaching in Targovishte, Preslav, Shumen, Varna. One of the founders and first chairman of the collective of Shumen artists /1955/. Participated in art exhibitions – national, district, collective, held 6 solo exhibitions. Awarded the Order of “Cyril and Methodius” – Second degree.
