Stefan Yanev (1952). Born on January 21, 1952 in Blagoevgrad. In 1978, he graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts – Sofia. For more than 30 years, Yanev has been protecting the dying urban detail in the most risky direct and frontal way in the picture – he tells about the gate, the window, the balcony, even about the plaster of the disappearing houses all over Europe and the Orient – houses, a source of provincial romance and common human poetry.
