Biographical data about the author

Ganchev, Rusi (1895 – 1965). He was born on September 28, 1895 in the city of Ruse. He graduated from the Art Academy – Sofia in 1926 in the class of Prof. Tseno Todorov. Long-term high school art teacher in Ruse, Oryahovo and Vidin. He was one of the first co-founders of the Rousse Gallery. From the end of the 1940s, he moved to Sofia. He was an artist at the Ethnographic Museum in Sofia/1949-1960/. He paints mostly landscapes. He died on 30.10.1965 in the city of Sofia.
