Nikolai Ruschukliev (1932), “Saffron”, 1977

Ruschukliev, Nikolay Nikolov – Professor Nikolay Ruschukliev was born on November 15. 1932 in Pleven, for many years he was a professor of painting at Veliko Tarnovo University. His works are owned by the National Art Gallery, galleries in Veliko Tarnovo, Vidin, Kavarna, Vratsa, Belogradchik, Ruse, Sevlievo, Dobrich. Besides ransoms, a significant part of them are also his personal donations made over the years. Nikolai Ruschukliev graduated from the Art Academy in Sofia as a student of painting under Prof. Iliya Petrov, and then under Prof. Nenko Balkanski. He was a teacher, and since 1986 he has been teaching painting at Veliko Tarnovo University, where he worked for 22 years.
