Biographical data about the author

Sotirov, Stoyan Birov. Born on 11.05.1903, village of Gradevo Blagoevgradsko – died on 18.01.1984, Sofia. In 1919 he entered the Painting School in Sofia and continued his higher education at the Academy of Arts, where from 1924 to 1928 he studied painting with Prof. Dimitar Gyudzhenov and Prof. Stefan Ivanov. He works in the field of portraiture, figurative composition, still life, graphics and posters.
