PETKOV, Plamen Vasilev Petkov (26.II.1955). Born in Shumen. In 1974, he graduated from the Art High School in Sofia, and in 1980 from the VTU “St. Cyril and Methodius”, majoring in mural painting. Art teacher. Chief artist of the Municipal Council – Shumen (1983-1990). Since 1990, director of “S. Dobroplodni” secondary school. Member of the DSHH since 1980. Participated in 14 general art exhibitions, in 2 international biennales, held 5 solo exhibitions. He works in graphics and painting. He designed and executed murals in V. Tarnovo and in the village of Oreshaka, Loveshko. Since 1990, he has been designing and implementing corporate and advertising visual-communication systems, decorative-monumental panels. In 1984, he won the Shumen Award.
