Panagiotis Yanis Goudzimisis – born on May 6, 1941, Elinochori village, Greece. His family emigrated to Bulgaria. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts with a major in “painting” in the class of Prof. Nenko Balkanski in 1968. He was assigned to Targovishte and for many years his life was connected with this city. He founded the Society of Artists in 1974 and was its secretary, later he was the director of the Nikola Marinov Art Gallery. After 1989, he moved to Varna, where he remained until the end of his days in 2003.
