IZVARIN, Nikolay Sergeev Izvarin (25.XII.1928-1996). Born in Varna. In 1960, he graduated from VIII “N. Pavlovich” with a degree in scenography under Prof. G. Karakashev. He worked in drama and puppet theaters in many cities in the country and did the scenography of over 70 performances. He worked in the Shumen Theater from 1963 to 1966. Member of the Group of Shumen artists. He participates in regional, national and international exhibitions and plein airs. In the cities where he lives and works he gives lectures on the history and problems of art. Since 1973 he has worked in the art gallery in the city of Varna and teaches history of art at the Middle School of Music in the same city Member of the World Information Center for Arts and Communications Cambridge and the American Biography Information Center.
