Iliya Milkov (1927 – 2009), “Landscape”, 1990

Milkov, Iliya Varbenov (1927 – 2009). Born in the village of Stavertsi. He became a member of the Union of Artists in 1962. He participated in the leadership of the Pleven group of artists, as the chairman of its artistic council. He holds numerous exhibitions in the country and abroad. His paintings are owned by galleries in the country and the National Art Gallery. He is a holder of the order “Cyril and Methodius” 1st and 2nd degree, declared an honorary citizen of Pleven.
