Biographical data about the author

EVTIMOV, Deyan Iliev Evtimov (5.ІІІ.1947). Born in Shumen. In 1966 he graduated from the Art High School, and in 1974 from the Art Academy, majoring in illustration and book layout under Prof. P. Chuklev. He studied graphic techniques with Prof. E. Tomov. From 1974 to 1978 he was a drawing teacher at the Shumen Art School. Since 1982, he has been the director of “El. Karamihailova” HG. Member of the SBH. Participated in OHI since 1975 and in international exhibitions and biennials. Holds 7 solo exhibitions. He works in the fields of graphics, painting, book layout, graphic design and monumental painting.
