Stefan Petrov (1891 -1991), “Vitosha Street – Shumen”, 1954

PETROV, Stefan Stoyanov Petrov (22X1891-1991). Born into a military family. He studied at the Rousse High School. In 1918, he graduated from the Sofia Art and Industrial School under Stefan Ivanov, Ivan Angelov, Hristo Berberov, Anton Mitov, and Marin Vasilev. He works in Sofia – in the State Printing House and in the National Theater. He returned to Shumen – taught, designed sets for operettas, devoted himself to painting. He held solo exhibitions in 1942, 1966, 1968, 1974, 1986 and 1991 – a jubilee exhibition on the occasion of his 100th anniversary.
