Dimo Valchev (1923 – 1990), “Hisarya fortress”, 1987

VALCHEV, Dimo Valchev Dimov (15.VIII.1923-1990). Born in the village of Mogila, Shumensko. In 1942 he graduated from the 1st “V. Drumev” men’s high school in Shumen, in the following year 1943 he graduated from the naval department of the School for Reserve Officers at the Naval School in Varna. He studied for two semesters at the Faculty of Law of the SU. Actively participated in the Group of Shumen artists. Theater master in the Turkish variety theater until 1961. Artist successively in OKS, ZTA “Madara”, TKZS-Divdyadovo. One of the founders of the children’s puppet theater at the “D. Voynikov” community center.
