Biographical data about the author

PETROV, Chanko Petrov Penev (2.III.1902-1985). Born in Shumen. In 1932 he graduated from the Art Academy. Teaching in Targovishte, Preslav, Shumen, Varna. One of the founders and first chairman of the collective of Shumen artists (1955). Participated in art exhibitions – national, district, collective, held 6 solo exhibitions. Awarded the Order of “Cyril and Methodius” – Second degree.
