Biographical data about the author

Popchev, Ivan Todorov (born 30.10.1941, Dabovo village – died 20.03.1994, Stara Zagora). Ivan Popchev was born on October 30, 1941 in the village of Dabovo, Kazanlashko. In 1961, he entered the art academy in Sofia, where he studied painting in the studios of Prof. Dechko Uzunov and Prof. Panayot Panayotov. For the first time he participated in a national exhibition in 1969, when he was also appointed director of the Art Gallery in Stara Zagora, which he managed for more than 20 years.
