Biographical data about the author

KAVALDJIEV, Veselin Stanchev Kavaldzhiev (BEKO) – (14.І.1925- 12.ІІІ.2005) Born in Straldzha, Yambolsko. He graduated from the Art Academy with a degree in scenography. He works in theaters in Ruse, Burgas, Vidin, Shumen. Long-term chairman of the Shumen Artists’ Group. He works in the field of painting. He held four solo exhibitions. Awarded with the order “Cyril and Methodius” – Third, Second and First degrees, and scenography awards.
