Georgi Trifonov (1947 – 2011), “In honor of Eisenstein”, 1977

Trifonov, Georgi Vassilev (1947-2011). Born on December 18, 1947 in the village of Karlukovo, Loveshko. In 1966, he graduated from the Art High School in Sofia. He graduated from the “Nikolay Pavlovich” Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Sofia in 1974 under Associate Professor Petar Chuklev. He was a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists (SBH) and in 1993, at his suggestion, the “Maintaining Art in Bulgaria” fund was established. He died on June 4, 2011 in Sofia. He works in the field of painting, decorative-monumental arts, drawing, graphics, illustration.
