Biographical data about the author

Atanas Vasilev Pacev. Born May 27, 1926, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Died in 1999 in Sofia. painter and illustrator, meritorious artist. He studied at the Radomir High School. An active member of the RMS (1940), participated in the armed anti-fascist movement in the Tran partisan detachment. In 1949 he graduated from the Art Academy under Prof. Iliya Petrov and Dechko Uzunov. He is considered one of the most distinctive and significant Bulgarian magicians of the second half of the 20th century. Until the end of his life, he was considered to belong to the Plovdiv art school.
