Daniel, Andrey Leon. Born on March 28, 1952, Ruse. Graduated from the National Art Academy in Sofia, specialty “painting”, under Prof. Dobri Dobrev. Since 1977, he has regularly participated in national and international art forums. He has held more than 25 solo exhibitions in the country and around the world. He is a member of the SBH. In 1987, he became one of the founders of the avant-garde group “The City”, which fought against the conjuncture in art. During this period, he worked with non-traditional techniques – installations, objects, but immediately after the breakup of the group in 1991, he returned to painting and became a professor of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts.
