Biographical data about the author

Milkov, Iliya Varbenov (1927 – 2009). Born on 10.10.1927, Stavertsi village, Pleven region. Member of the Union of Artists since 1962. Participated in the leadership of the Pleven group of artists, holding the position of chairman of its artistic council for twenty years. Participated in numerous exhibitions in the country and abroad. Many of his paintings are owned by the Holder of the Order “Cyril and Methodius” 1st and 2nd degree for merits in fine arts. Declared an honorary citizen of Pleven.
