Vitkovsi, Kolyo Petkov – He was born on June 4, 1925 in the Plovdiv village of Streltsi. In 1947 he entered the Prague Art Academy, where after a long break he graduated with a degree in graphics in 1960. After that he lived and worked in Plovdiv, he was a member of the group of Plovdiv artists from the “April Generation”, together with Georgi Bozhilov – Slona, Ioan Leviev, Encho Pironkov, Dimitar Kirov, Boyajana and others. He has participated in general art exhibitions since 1962, he also exhibits abroad. He works in aquatint and drypoint. For many years he worked as the director of the Plovdiv Art Gallery. In addition to being a painter and graphic designer, Vitkovski is also a poet and writer.
