Panagiotis Goudzimisis was born on May 6, 1941 in the small Greek village of Elinochori. He retired in 2003. His family emigrated to Bulgaria. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts with a major in “painting” in the class of Prof. Nenko Balkanski pres. He was assigned to Targovishte and for many years his life was connected with this city. He founded the Society of Artists in 1974 and was its secretary, and later he was the director of the art gallery “Nikola Marinov”. After 1989, the artist together with his family moved to live in Varna, where he remained until the end of his days in 2003.
