Item description

Ottoman empire – 19th century. The blade is of forged steel with curved backwards point and one wide fuller on each side. The guard is of bronze, with a crescent on in, and the hilt is of wood, covered with black leather and wrapped in twisted bronze wire. The scabbard is of sheet steel.
