Item description

Probably Ottoman Empire – there is a crescent on the scabbard. The blade is of forged steel with curved backwards point and one wide fuller on each side. The guard is made of bronze, and the hilt – of wood, covered with leather and wrapped in twisted bronze wire. The scabbar is of sheet steel, with two suspension rings and loops made of bronze. The tip protector is round. It belonged to Angel Ganev Koydzhiev – volunteer from Shumen.
