Item description

Germany. Single-edged steel blade with a fuller. The guard is of cast bronze with ornamental elements. At the base of the guard is attached a “shell” – a characteristic part of ceremonial weapons in 18th – 19th centuries, with a hunting scene depicted on it. The grip is covered with stingray skin.
