Shtilyanova, Tsvetana Mihailova – 1903-1994. Tsvetana Shtilyanova was born on May 1, 1903 in Kazanlak. Graduated Painting at the State Art Academy / 1919-1928. / with Prof. Dimitar Gyuzhenov. He specialized in Paris / 1929 – 1933/. He stayed there for four years. Participated in the Spring Salon at the Grand Palais. The portrait “My Mother” exhibited there was noted by critics, and her name entered “Les artistes d’aujourd’hui” /1.06.1933/. He spent part of his life in Prague and Vienna. He paints mostly still lifes and portraits. Since 1933 participated regularly in the exhibitions of the Society “Contemporary Art” and of women artists. Organized 4 solo exhibitions and participated in the OHI of the SBH. Until 1944, she was close to the royal family, and after the changes in 1944. he paints little, mostly portraits of his loved ones. He died in 1994. in Sofia.
