Biographical data about the author

Kiril Buyukliyski – He was born in 1903 in Vratsa. In 1926, he graduated from the Art Academy in Sofia under Prof. Nikola Marinov. Contributor to the magazines “Red Laughter”, “Horo”, “Horovod”, the newspapers “Nashenets” (1941 – 1944), “Evening News”, “Trud”, “Otechestven Front”, “Stershel”, “Narodna Kultura. As a cartoonist, he published portrait cartoons and political cartoons from 1921. He died in 1968 in Sofia.
