Biographical data about the author

Doncho Savov Zankov was born on June 28, 1893 in Sevlievo. He died on February 14, 1960 in Sofia. He graduated from the Art Industrial School in Sofia under Prof. Haralampi Tachev in 1921. He taught for many years in Sofia. Artist in the First Bulgarian Army during the First World War (1914 – 1918). He mainly creates high mountain landscapes, works with watercolor and oil paints.
