Nenko Tokmakchiev (1931 – 2014), “Sozopol – sunset”, 1979

Tokmakchiev, Nenko Angelov. Born on 13.04. 1931, Aytos, died on 20.01.2014, Sofia. In 1957, he graduated from the theater painting major at the Academy of Arts, where his teachers were Professor Ivan Penkov and Professor Georgi Karakashev. From 1957 to 1959, he worked as an artist at the “Konstantin Kisimov” drama theater in Veliko Tarnovo, and from 1959 to 1961 – at the Vidin Drama Theater. He works in the genres of landscape, composition and portrait, his preferred technique is watercolor.
