Biographical data about the author

Mirchev, Ivaylo Nikolov. Born on August 11, 1954 in Sofia. Son of the artist Nikola Mirchev. In 1981, he graduated from the National Academy of Arts in the class of Prof. Svetlin Rusev. In 1985, he was awarded the prize for plastic arts “South Spring”. Works with pencil, watercolor, gouache. He holds numerous solo exhibitions in the country and abroad. Professor of painting at the Sofia Academy of Fine Arts. In 2004, he was elected chairman of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
