Biographical data about the author

PISKOV, Ginyu Ivanov Piskov (14.H.1892-06.V.1925). Born in Shumen. In 1922, he graduated in decorative arts at the Academy of Arts. His first exhibitions were in the City Garden (Greetorium) in Shumen. Artist of “Red Laughter” magazine. One of the leaders of the September Uprising in Shumen District. Illegal. Amnestied. Killed in 1925 together with a group of revolutionary poets and publicists.
